Economic Sanctions Provision
This policy does not provide any coverage, benefit, or services for any activity that would violate any applicable economic/trade sanction or embargo law or regulation, including without limitation sanctions administered and enforced under the Office of Foreign Assets Control “OFAC”.
Coverage and assistance may be limited whenever traveling to a country impacted by OFAC restrictions. Our designated assistance provider cannot issue a guarantee of payment (GOP) to any entity under OFAC restriction; as financial transactions are prohibited. The practicality of supporting any request for emergency assistance would be inhibited by limited or no access to the location of the insured. View a list of OFAC Sanctions.
