Three Exotic Locations That Are Easy To Visit

BermudaContent

We all like to get away from it all once in a while and escaping to an exotic location could be the solution. But it can also be nerve-wracking to find a place that's easy to get to. Worry no more, here are three exotic locations that are easy to visit.

U.S. Virgin IslandsĀ

This destination is an easy getaway for US citizens as you don't need a passport. The US Virgin Islands are located in the eastern Caribbean, only 1,100 miles southeast of Miami. There are three major islands, St Thomas, St Croix and St John. Each island is different and unique in its own way. St Thomas is perfect for the shopaholic with plenty of boutiques and jewelers. St Croix, though, is the island for the luxury traveler among us. Looking for a true escape? St John will captivate you with its unspoiled beauty and perfect beaches. Do keep in mind that St John does not have an airport on the island and is only accessible by boat.

Hawaii

Another great destination you don't need a passport for if you're a US citizen is Hawaii. Hawaii speaks to our imagination when we envision a tropical vacation. Its palm trees, warm climate and stunning beaches will charm anyone. Surfers especially love to catch a wave at the birthplace of modern and big wave surfing. There are six major islands for you to visit: Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui and Hawaii Island. As with the US Virgin Islands, each island has its own personality and offers activities, sights and experiences for everyone.

Note: Keep in mind a passport is still the best way of identification when traveling.

Bermuda

Bermuda might be British and you will need a passport, but it is located only a two hour flight from New York, just off the east coast of the United States. The subtropical climate makes Bermuda a favorable destination all year round with a mild temperature in the winter. The island offers pink sand beaches and the most beautiful turquoise water you can imagine. Walk around St George`s Town, the first permanent English settlement on Bermuda and imagine life here three hundred years ago. You can also admire Bermuda inspired art at Masterworks, the Museum of Bermuda Art, or just sit back, relax and enjoy a Rum Swizzle, the island's favorite cocktail.

Which one would you pick as your next exotic getaway?
