I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to different teams that are dedicated to providing you with quality travel insurance.
RoamRight wouldn’t be complete without our spirited team of managers. They work many hours to keep us focused on our corporate mission and our goal of protecting travelers everywhere. Their vision and guidance is one thing that makes RoamRight such a unique organization.
Our customer service team is fully committed to providing you with the best service possible. If you call them directly or chat with them through our website, their goal is to understand your travel plans and match you up with the most appropriate insurance product. Our customer service manager recently told me, "I love that people love us because we don't try to sell them things they don't need." This team loves to help people and it shows!
Unfortunately, the public perception of claims departments is often a negative one. While some organizations have claims departments that seem to deny every request submitted, RoamRight’s claims department takes the time to carefully review each case. They pride themselves on being efficient and RoamRight travelers are often surprised that their claims can be processed so quickly – within a few weeks. Before you submit a claim, review your description of coverage to see if your situation is covered by your policy. (It’s a good idea to review your description of coverage prior to even buying your policy. It’s also a good idea to keep any receipts you may need in the event you have to file a claim.)
The underwriters help design the programs that we sell. They analyze market research, determine what needs to be included in a plan and develop the insurance options that our travelers love. They also work with the state regulating organizations to make sure that we are compliant and can sell insurance in all 50 states.
As a RoamRight customer, you probably won’t ever meet our IT team, but they have done some exciting things during our tenure. They built RoamRight.com from scratch, including the check-out process. Then they made it all mobile friendly so now you can easily buy your travel insurance on the go. They developed this blog and have a few additionally awesome things coming up in the next few months.
