Similar to their 07/27/12 travel warning, the United States continues to warn against travel to Syria and strongly recommends that U.S. citizens remaining in Syria depart immediately.
The Department of State urges those who decide to remain in Syria despite this Travel Warning to provide their current contact information through the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) at www.travel.state.gov.
