    Medical Plan For Travel Outside The US

    SydneyRoamRight's Medical Plan provides travel medical insurance coverage for international travel (outside the U.S.). It can cover trips up to 6 months in length and has an optional sports upgrade but is not intended for medical tourism.

      Travel medical insurance outside the United States is known as tourist health insurance. There are two main differences between tourist health insurance and standard health insurance:

    1. Tourist health insurance plans are generally offered at a lower cost and for a shorter term – lasting only for the duration of the trip.
    2. Tourist health insurance can provide coverage for medical claims incurred almost anywhere in the world. This is a feature that is generally not available through Medicare or Medicaid or most standard health insurance policies.
